Theresa Morris

Office Manager CPC

Theresa is the Office Manager for New Beginnings Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, where she is responsible for overall operations of the office, supervising staff, and managing the day to day responsibilities. Theresa also handles all the health insurance and medical billing needs for the office. She joined our team in October 2015 with over 12 years’ experience in Managerial, Medical Coding and Billing. Her favorite part of working at New Beginnings Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery is interacting with patients and watching their journey as they reach their aesthetic and reconstructive goals.

We are like a family: our compassion and devotion make it an ideal working environment.

Theresa’s philosophy is to "treat patients the way you would like to be treated yourself."

Abigail Copeland

Licensed Esthetician

Abigail (Abby) joined our team in July of 2023. Previously Abby has worked in Dermatology as a medical assistant for two years and an esthetician for 11 years. Her two passions have always been medicine and beauty as she also obtained her cosmetology license in 2012. 

In these fields her drive is to build confident individuals because of education and corrective treatments. She takes joy in the art behind providing customized, result driven care to her clients. Abby has a keen eye in her attention to detail which results in a happy client. 



While not at work, Abby loves spending time with her husband, kids, and friends and family most. She also loves health and wellness which includes hikes and any outdoor activities.

Jodi Swart

Administrative Assistant

Jodi comes to us with 25 years of experience in the medical field. As our Administrative Assistant, she will be responsible for making sure that your experience with the appointment process is seamless and will answer any questions that you may have prior to coming into the office. She approaches all aspects of any job with a positive, hard-working mindset, and is passionate about helping our patients.

She brings with her an extensive background in the medical field, including plastic surgery, hospital collections and gastroenterology. She is excited to bring these experiences and enthusiasm to the team at New Beginnings Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

In addition to her duties as the Administrative Assistant, Jodi is also active in her community, where she is a volunteer at her local fire department. When she is not in the office or volunteering her time, she can be found at the campground enjoying the outdoors or spending time with her two grandchildren. 

Kate Collins

Certified Medical Assistant

Hi my name is Kate, most people know me as Katie, but I come fresh to New Beginnings after a 13yr stint in Gastroenterology. What a change- Plastics, Surgery, Cosmetics, Skin, I feel like I’m in heaven. Great challenges ahead for me, but I am up for it!

What I will bring to New Beginnings that will set me apart from others is my award winning personality and charm.

I enjoy working with all kinds of people because it allows me to get to know them and it’s great to have someone like me in your corner because I am just as passionate and concerned as you are, while your mind is frantic about any possibilities of “change.” I am extremely excited about helping our patients achieve their goals, whether they be long or short-term. 

I grew up in the Hudson Valley all of my life, born and raised in the Town of Marlborough, but have resided in Highland for the past 8yrs. I am active in local recreational women’s sports, including Volleyball and Softball. I’m an excellent cook/baker and I take pride in family traditions such as baking Christmas cookies every year with my cousin. I have an almost 9yr old German Shephard named Ella and she is just my whole world, a dynamic duo we are.

So far, I’ve been enjoying in office procedures such as Coolsculpting, Hair Restoration, Ear Lobe Repairs (sounds gross, but it’s really cool), and consultations with our clients. I am so excited to be joining Dr Silverman and look forward to providing continued success and achievements to his practice.
