Botox®

Do you suffer from frown lines between the eyebrows and crow’s feet lines? Botox ® is the most popular non-surgical cosmetic treatment, with more than six million botulinum treatments administered each year.

It is made from a neurotoxin called botulinum toxin that is produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. This organism is found in the natural environment where it is largely inactive and non-toxic.

Botulinum toxin works by preventing signals from the nerve cells from reaching muscles, therefore paralyzing them. It is injected into humans in extremely small concentrations. It is used to reduce fine lines and wrinkles by paralyzing the underlying muscles. Botulinum toxin is currently used to treat over 20 different medical conditions, with more applications under investigation.

People also use Botox to treat excessive sweating, migraines, muscular disorders, and some bladder and bowel disorders.

Sculptra®

Sculptra® Aesthetic is an FDA-approved injectable that is used for facial aging, made with biocompatible, biodegradable, synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid, which is gradually and naturally absorbed by the body and helps stimulate collagen production.

This collagen stimulator is used to diminish facial wrinkles by helping to restore the deep, underlying structure of the skin and help restore your skin’s inner structure and volume. Rebuilt collagen strands begin gradually helping to restore facial volume and the look of fullness to wrinkles and folds.

Results appear gradually over the treatment regime (typically three injections over the course of three to four months) and can last up to two years. The number of injection appointments and the number of injections per appointment vary from person to person, depending on how much collagen has been lost.

Juvederm Voluma® XC

Your face changes in many ways as you age. This is part of the normal aging process, but genetics and environmental factors also play a role. Over time, the cheeks flatten and the skin may begin to sag. This is caused by a natural loss of volume in the cheek area or age-related midface volume loss.

JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC injectable gel adds volume to correct age-related volume loss in the cheeks to help create a more youthful appearance. It's designed to add volume beneath the skin’s surface to lift and contour the cheek area. In clinical studies, patients reported looking up to five years younger and results lasted up to two years.

Juvederm® XC

Over time you may notice a change in the appearance of your skin, typically in the form of deepening parentheses lines and wrinkles.

Parentheses lines are static lines that appear when your face is at rest. This happens over time as your skin loses some of the building blocks (hyaluronic acid and collagen) that give the skin its structure.

JUVÉDERM® XC injectable gel is for injection into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds (such as nasolabial folds). These injectable gels instantly smooth moderate to severe parentheses lines and wrinkles around your nose and mouth.

Restylane Kysse

The lips and the lines around the mouth, like other areas of the face, show signs of aging as you get older. This often results in lip thinning, lost shape and an increase in vertical lines above the lip.

Restylane® Kysse uses XpresHAn Technology (like "expression") to enhance your natural beauty. It's a flexible and supportive formulation that has the ability to integrate with your tissue so it becomes one with your lips.

Restylane® Kysse is designed to have results that last up to 1 year. In clinical trials, 100 percent of patients reported visible improvement in lip fullness 14 days after injection and 96 percent reported their lips looking natural and even improved lip texture.

Kybella®

Do you have some extra fullness beneath your chin or “double chin?” Maybe it’s something you’ve had your whole life, something that developed over the years, or something you noticed recently. Do you feel the condition makes you look older or heavier than you actually are? Are you bothered (unhappy, self-conscious, embarrassed) by fat under the chin, also known as submental fullness. 67% of people surveyed said they are bothered by the fat beneath their chin.

KYBELLA® is the FDA-approved injectable treatment that destroys fat cells under the chin to improve your profile. The active ingredient in KYBELLA® is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat.

When injected into the fat beneath the chin, KYBELLA® destroys fat cells, resulting in a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin. You will receive multiple small injections under your chin, and the injection process takes about 15 to 20 minutes.

Everyone’s chin profile is different, so the number of treatments varies from patient to patient.

Bellafill®

Bellafill® has been FDA-approved since 2006 and uses an innovative blend of two distinct components (80% bovine collagen and 20% PMMA microspheres) to create both immediate and long-lasting results.

Bellafill® works to immediately improve the wrinkles and fine lines of treated areas. Effective with all skin types and works equally on both men and women, Bellafill ® is the only dermal filler on the market that is FDA-approved to improve moderate to severe acne scarring.

In a consumer survey, 91% of patients were likely to recommend Bellafill®. In a 5-year, post-approval study, 83% of patients were satisfied to very satisfied with their nasolabial fold correction at the end of five years.
