Eyelid Surgery

Eyelid surgery or blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure that can rejuvenate the appearance of your eyelids.  Surgery can be performed on upper, lower or both eyelids.  The common patient presentation is someone with redundant skin to upper and/or lower eyelids and puffy bags below the eyes.  Exess skin, fat and muscle can be removed to give your eyelids a more younthful appearance.

  1. You have redundant skin of upper or lower eyelids
  2. You have bags below your eyes
  3. You do not experience dry eyes or other serious eye conditions
  4. You are a healthy patient

Ear Surgery

Ear surgery or otoplasty is a surgical procedure that can recreate the contour, shape, position or proportion of the ear.  Sometimes ear defects are present at birth or can be a result of a trauma to the ear.  Some kids are born without an ear or the ear is only partially formed.  The surgery can have a dramatic effect on appearance and self-esteem.

Dr. Silverman considers you a candidate for otoplasty if:

  1. You have a mishapened ear
  2. You are at least 5 years of age
  3. You do not have untreated chronic ear infections
  4. You are a healthy patient

A Facelift or rhytidectomy is a surgical procedure that can rejuvenate the appearance of your face and neck.  The procedure removes excess skin and fat, and tightens muscles and skin.  This can restore more youthful contours of the face.  Aging is a natural process that will cause the loss of youthfulness in the face.  Other factors that can contribute to this process include sun exposure, genetics, gravity and stress.

  1. You have excess or loose skin of the face
  2. You have deep creases along your nose extending to the corner of your mouth
  3. You have lose of skin tone and have jowls
  4. You are a healthy patient

Nose Job

A nose job or rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure that can correct a deformity or asymmetry of a nose. The procedure can reshape the nose by changing the size, removing a hump, changing the shape of the tip of the nose and changing the angle between the nose and upper lip. This can enhance facial proportions and harmony. The procedure may also be performed to improve breathing.

  2. You are self-conscious because of the appearance of your nose
